Hong Kong Chief Executive Donald Tsang Visits Comba


  August 4, Guangzhou - Mr. Donald Tsang, Hong Kong Chief Executive, visited Comba in Guangzhou Science City. Mr. Wang Qingliang, Guangdong Vice Governor, and Chen Deming, Guangzhou Vice Mayor, accompanied the delegates to have the on-site visit. They were warmly received by Comba's senior management team, including Mr. Tony Fok, Comba's Chairman and President, Zhang Yuejun, Executive Vice President, Wu Jiangcheng, Yan Jici and Simon Yeung, Senior Vice President, Wilson Tong, Group Financial Controller, and Zhang Jinyu, Deputy Financial Controller.

Mr. Donald Tsang paid a visit to Guangdong to attend the 11th Plenary of the Hong Kong-Guangdong Co-operation Joint Conference in Guangzhou on August 5.  Meanwhile he came to visit some enterprises as good examples of business cooperation model between Hong Kong and Guangdong Province. In Comba's exhibition hall, Cheng Xiaohua, Deputy Administration Director of Guangzhou Economic and Technology Development District, Standing Committee of Luogan District, and Director of District Office, briefed on the development of Guangzhou Economic and Technology Development District.

Mr. Tony Fok, Comba's Chairman and President, also gave an introduction on Comba’s global market, global R&D. He specially introduced the latest Beijing-Tianjin Rail Line Project and telecom rescue activities in Wenchuan earthquake as an example of the company's social responsibilities. Finally, He concluded Hong Kong's vital role in Comba Group and gave some advices on the Hong Kong-Guangdong co-operation.

After the speeches, Mr. Donald Tsang was showed around Comba's three product lines, camouflaged antennas and the anechoic chamber which is the largest of its kind in China. In addition, Mr. Tony Fok exchanged gifts with Mr. Donald Tsang to memorize his visit.

Mr. Donald Tsang said that Comba's products and technologies left him with a deep and lasting impression and expressed his sincere thanks to Mr. Tony Fok and Comba.
