Vodafone Certifies Comba as Approved Supplier in Its Global Supply Management Programme

(24 June 2008 – Hong Kong) –Comba Telecom Systems Holdings Limited (“Comba” or “the Group”, Hong Kong stock code: 2342), a leading wireless enhancement solutions provider announced it has qualified as one of the approved suppliers in Vodafone’s Global Supply Management program.

Under the Vodafone program, qualified suppliers such as Comba underwent a series of rigorous audits and company visits conducted by a Vodafone committee drawn from a global pool of engineering, manufacturing, finance and process management professionals from China and European regions. Conducted over an extended period of time, suppliers were assessed on a number of different processes and procedures including, but not limited to, manufacturing, product, quality assurance, human resources, distribution, R&D and financial track record and stability.

Commenting on Comba’s certification, Mr. Ling Siow Chang, head of the Technology & China Sourcing Centre for Vodafone, said “China is one of the key areas in Vodafone’s global procurement strategy, and the China Sourcing Center is key to sourcing and vetting quality suppliers that can meet our requirements and grow with Vodafone not just in Asia Pacific, but also worldwide. We are therefore pleased to grant Approved Supplier status for Comba. By meeting Vodafone’s six pillars of supplier performance standards, Comba joins a group of suppliers in the Vodafone Global Supply Management program”.
