(23 August 2006 – Hong Kong) – Comba Telecom Systems Holdings Limited (“Comba” or the “Group”, Hong Kong stock code: 2342),the leading wireless enhancement solutions provider, inaugurated today its Caribbean and Latin America regional headquarters in Brazil. Located in São Paulo, the office will be responsible for sales and marketing and provision of technical support to customers in the Caribbean and Latin America region. The Brazil office adds to the Group’s network of offices directly serving the international market, these offices include Hong Kong, Sweden, India, Singapore and Thailand.

The Caribbean and Latin American market possesses tremendous potential. Analysts projects equipment renewal, telecommunication volume expansion and network quality enhancement etc is necessary upon the privatization of telecommunication market in Latin American countries, which brings tremendous business opportunities to wireless enhancement solutions provider.

The head of Comba’s Brazilian operation, Mr Patrik Westfalk, brings with him over 10 years of industry experience in the Latin American market. With vast exposure to wireless enhancement solutions and technologies, Mr. Westfalk has held various management positions within the industry. He led turnkey telecom projects for the Rio de Janeiro Metro, Santiago Metro, Buenos Aires Metro, Claro Brazil as well as Vivo Brazil.
