Comba Telecom Wins Chengdu Metro Line 17 Phase I and Line 18 Phase I & II Tender to Undertake Communication Integrated General Contract Project

(10 July 2018, Hong Kong) - Comba Telecom Systems Holdings Limited (“Comba Telecom”, Hong Kong stock code: 2342.HK), a global leading solutions and services provider of wireless and information communications systems, is pleased to announce that it has won the tender for the Communication Integrated General Contract project of Chengdu Metro Line 17 Phase I and Line 18 Phase I & II, following the successful tender of Chengdu Metro Line 8 Phase I Communication Integrated General Contract Project last year.


Chengdu is an important city of China's “Belt and Road” strategy. In recent years, urban rail transit construction in Chengdu has developed rapidly. The Chengdu Metro Lines 17 and 18 will be the lifeline of urban rail transit connecting the important transportation hubs of Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, North Railway Station and South Railway Station, and the complex circuit design and high-speed control requirements will bring great challenges to the railway wireless communication system. The project involves four major systems for specialized use, public security, passenger information and emergency communication, which comprise all together 22 subsystems supporting such functions as transmission, video surveillance, PIS, specialized telephone and power system, etc. The aggregate value of the project is over RMB250 million.
